I've started to use a daily planner as a means to journal events because the infinite space of a spiral notebook is overwhelming, but the small space allowed in a planner is just enough for me to summerize what happened today.

I work overnights at a gas station, and last week a customer made a ly*ching joke to my black coworker. Since then, we've been high alert for any sort of violence, as we are in a rural part of WV. I'm entering a mindset that we cannot trust anyone, even nice regulars, after Monday.
Service workers, have you noticed any uptick in "mask off" behavior, like racial/ sexist comments or aggression at your place of work as we approach Inauguration? Do your regulars feel emboldened to say things they haven't said before?
