I mean, why not both? Destroy in the morning, cease in the afternoon. Maybe a bit of 'doing a deal' before bedtime?

Palantir are about six months away from ordering their employees to leave audio logs scattered around their offices
I'm running five sessions of Daggerheart over the three days of #UKGE and need to do some planning as well. Last time I ran that many sessions my plan after the last one finished turned out to be "stare at the lake outside the exhibition hall for 20 minutes"
Stick it straight in my veins.
Good to see Dan clarify History Hit isn't using AI generated imagery, concerning that it was copy incorrectly included in their ad from a job role taken from "a parent company". So, the parent company seems to require skills in Slopware generators, even if History Hit doesn't?
The job role described familiarity with Midjourney. Are you using AI-generated art assets as part of History Hit? I really hope not.
Some fantastic choices in there. I'm glad to see that Silent Cartographer is amongst the list. The opening beach scene is Rock and Roll. One of my foundational gaming memories.
If he was a d20, he'd only roll ones
I really enjoyed it, plus there's a new episode of Mythos which is a lot of fun
Did you get on the Kickstarter for Crowley? Factual series about him, presented by Matt Heywood and Kennedy Fisher, with inserts from the other main characters from the Lovecraft Investigations. That is also excellent
Can you share some of the common flaws that frustrate you the most?
"...From out there on the moon, international politics look so petty. You want to grab a politician by the scruff of the neck and drag him a quarter of a million miles out and say, ‘Look at that, you son of a bitch.'" Edgar Mitchell, Apollo 14 Astronaut.
If you missed out on the Crowley/Mythos Kickstarter, here is yiur chance to get on board: crowley.backerkit.com/hosted_preor...
OneDrive is going to make their flight plan vanish and then inexplicably turn up again once they're somewhere past Jupiter, isn't it?
@juliansimpson.bsky.social I've gorged myself on Crowley and the new Mythos ep. this week. So glad I backed it, I knew Crowley was going to be a banger within the first few minutes. I find it staggering that the BBC won't reveal the Mythos audience figures to you, as the creator of the show!
Really lovely stuff. Just ordered the Detectorists poster.
Really enjoying browsing the various creature actions that are already designed and mixing some of those flavours into these fellas.
Spent some time over a mug of tea designing various Giant Crabs for my #Daggerheart game. My players decided they would like to participate in a giant crab catching competition as part of their downtime and hoo boy are they going to get one.
Someone told me before I started that "there wasn't much demand for that sort of thing in Bath," and in a nice way it was gratifying to find out how wrong they were!
Yeah that's kind of the approach we went for. We have GMs pitch games and match them to potential players based on their expressed preferences and how long they've been waiting to play. We were incredibly lucky with venue and I have a great group of friends I've made who help administer it all.
Over time I've noticed a steady broadening in systems that are played. It's still majority 5e, but we've had Shadowdark, BitD, Delta Green, Brindlewood, Warhammer, Pathfinder. The one big difference from your experience is low horror. In three years we still haven't had a long form Cthulhu game.
Great write up. I set up a gaming community in 2022 called D&D and Friends in Bath, running at Thirsty Meeples. I went for big brand recognition with the "friends" doing dual service as people at the table and other TTRPGs. I thought we might get 4 tables. We have about 20 games running at the mo!

It's the alternative FAFO "Fae Around, Find Out"
They're all described as "Prof." on this page dndinacastle.com/products/dmu...
Do they mean Prof as in Professor, in which case "credentials needed" or do they mean Professional?
There's something about the whole D&D in Castle thing that leaves me vaguely uncomfortable.
"All mushrooms are edible. Some are edible only once."
Ordered. Groovy baby, yeahhh!
I'll give her this. It's a novel way for Liz Truss to announce a new podcast episode.
Sharia windmills are eating the cats, Dorian. Surely you must have seen that while imprisoned in your 15 minute city, where they'll kill you with the COVID 5G chip if you stray beyond the perimeter? Honestly, these fucking people. It's a total clowns' workshop, if all the clowns were sociopaths.
This IPSO adjudication against the Telegraph is quite something
Confirms their story titled: ‘We earn £345k, but soaring private school fees mean we can’t go on five holidays’ was completely fabricated, with the family involved non-existent and stock pictures used
