I find the criticism "it's a good game but not a good Dragon Age game" flimsy and makes me feel like they actually never understood the series.

Does it touch upon similar themes? Previous characters show up and respect continuity? Game mechanics evolve but evoke what came before it? There you go.

I want so badly to enjoy mobile games but the ecosystem they occupy apparently forces them into being annoying to play unless you are constantly purchasing magical coins at bizarre denominations that I refuse to understand.
