Depends on the block but, yeah, front row is generally not a great place to watch live sport from. There's a reason executive boxes are higher up in the stands.
Sulyok seems to be taking it quite well, in fairness
Approximately how much of that museum was given over to the monkey incident?
Especially weird as people *still* remember The Spirit Of Dark And Lonely Water, what, 50 years later. Maybe the problem is we’re not making public information campaigns terrifying enough.
Maybe it's really difficult to get out of?
Why do you want to see me cry, Jox?
Kan’t-ye, surely?
Oh. Oh no.
Every hotel room in every country I go to now seems to have a baffling array of light switches, and yet somehow not enough to actually turn off all the lights when I want to go to sleep.
If we're restricting ourselves to cities, the answer is clearly Doha. And I say this as someone who's been to Cleveland, Ohio.
This is the case I always think of when it comes to dangerous driving - severe injuries, driver failed to stop despite knowing the cyclist had crashed, was not only totally remorseless but thought she'd deserved it, and yet a suspended sentence and 2.5 year ban. www.getsurrey.co.uk/news/surrey-...
Thoroughly enjoyed @barristersecret.bsky.social’s Cut Throat Trial. Gripping, and manages to convey the reality of court (without tedious days of cell site analysis).
The “music from the 2000s that old people like” line was upsetting though.

Would you say it improved your mood?
Looking forward to the new submarine warfare element in next year’s boat race
I am still soliciting donations for Anthony Nolan ahead of the big day. Please continue to give generously 2026tcslondonmarathon.enthuse.com/pf/christoph...
Final long run before the marathon - c.31km from Ashford to Folkestone. Only mildly blustery down the shoreline as well.
Yes, but then I also get to be insufferable and tell everyone I meet that I’ve been to the moon, so….
A pretty stark conclusion from Parliament's national security strategy committee - Britain must prepare for a 'worst-case scenario' in which it and Europe cannot rely on US support in a crisis www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home...
In front of his very eyes
I like to think it's actually my lasting influence in the Echo office making itself felt.
Sadly not pictured: The kid building an enormous tower of bricks which, inevitably, collapsed in the middle of the PM's remarks.
Outrageous - you're not a communist.
Didn’t realise Yes to AV had a paramilitary wing
My main feeling was an Uncanny Valley sensation of watching clips of the films, but with everyone's faces just slightly wrong.
The thing that upsets me most about this comparison is that sometimes, when I see pictures of him, there's half a second where I'm confused because I genuinely think it's me.
Not the Bristol F2s?
My initial thought on reading this was “I thought the IEA were against working from home”. Then I remembered there were two IEAs.
