And I’m sure significantly more useful. I still have not found a camera where I’m happier with the WLF than a prism if a prism is an option.

I mean it's -only- 5 pounds but god it feels heavier as an object
And now you know why I jokingly call them "boat anchors"
Most TLRs were still from the "all metal" era, so, despite the compact size they tend to weigh in around 2.5 pounds average. That's still extremely light compared to the 5 pounds average systems that came after them. They're still definitely light for what they are.
The difference between 2.5 and 3 pounds is not as pronounced as the difference between things in this category and say like, a Pentax 67, RB or RZ, or a Mamiya C-series TLR.
Yeah about a half pound, but, it also shoots a 50% larger negative so
I’ve been metering it at ISO 4 when using the R72 filter, and adding about 50% to the metered time for exposures longer than a second
A 1:1 detail crop from the previous photo for better examination of fine rendering.
None too shabby, Ektar
A black-and-white photo of a trail winding through what looks like a snowy wood but very close inspection shows the white areas to be the greenery of spring.
I spent three weeks trying to catch when the early spring forest in IR would look like an early winter snow version and I do not regret that.

Palantir are about six months away from ordering their employees to leave audio logs scattered around their offices
Trying ID-11 at 1+3 this time? Which is a weird dilution, but, I’m hoping that 15 minute dev time will be kind to my tonality.
Brass snail
Brass snail mesuring tape
The best thing ive ever found in a garadge sale, a snail that is also a mesuring tape
Is it photos? More cobblestone infrareds of creepwood edition.

This part of town is more aggressive. Downtown it says ‘resist ICE.’ Up here it says ‘shoot ICE.’
A hand holding a Yashica-Mat TLR camera.
I can now properly post that I found an OG Yashica-Mat in inop with a gummed shutter and hazed reflex mirror and a missing name plate. Cleaned and serviced it and printed and detailed a new nameplate so I could gift it to a friend.
My favorite are the people who feel the need to do it on manual and then… only ever just set what the meter tells them the exposure should be. Just let the meter do it!
She’s right though
Love that model, specifically
A photo of a Kodak Medalist II functionally the same as the Yashica-Mat TLR beside it.
Another Medalist size comparison
Well, we already brought Dada back so it really does only make sense Palantir is bringing back Futurist manifestos

boys just want one thing, and it's [to talk about doing the work of learning to be better in a world that normalized them not having to be]
Me and the boys up talking about emotional work, like proper men
@nuclearbob.net noted my mother responds like those thirsty dudes who pretend to be reasonable up front but if you take five seconds too long to reply it becomes nothing but abuse how what an ugly whore you are anyway and, yeah, agreed, that really is the dynamic
And then also that while I still feel bad about how this is hurting my father, I've realized it's been a long time since I've even thought about if this is still hurting my mother. She burned that particular good will out of me somewhere along the line.
This week's emotional musings are that it's probably not the good sign she wants that leaving my mother on block has removed a lot of worry and stress about what horrible thing she'll blindside me with next, and I've regained a lot of executive function for it
I was doing tripod landscapes as well
