Tokyo somewhere. 50mm, f5.6, 1/500 sec. Cropped into vertical since I thought it looked cooler.

remember when canada and the us had probably the closest relationship on earth and anything more serious than friendly rivalry was unthinkable
weird i wonder what happened. i bet it was someone else's fault
mr. crapo
also no tax base to sustain city-level services out there so you better have water and electricity taken care of yourself. going to need to pave your own roads too
god forbid people enjoy a sea breeze
i need to know if this is a tandem jump and my chute is under the baby's control or we're just jumping together with our own chutes
also need at least one checked bag on the return leg for booze and shit. they don't let me carry 12 liters of sake on the plane for ???reasons???
checked a bag for the first time on my last trip (not counting international moves) and it was okay. i prefer carry on life ideally, but now that i have actual cameras that is no longer possible
am also starting to age, those wheeled carry ons look real attractive now instead of my usual pack
funny thing is you can be a conservative asshole and have public services. the LDP in japan is a bunch of dickbags but they also realize that you get more exploitation from your workers by keeping them healthy and providing them transportation to the office
also did not have a car and no idea how i'd even find a transit schedule since frequency was so high, who cares
things can actually just be designed to work well. there's no magical forcefield in the US that requires public services to be bad
i lived in countries with universal health care and there was no need to give up anything on the patient end. most things were better. i literally didn't even know how to make an appointment because you just walk in and get seen immediately
doctors and the hospital admin get paid less though

regular, express (10 items or less), self, human trafficker
every time i go to the grocery there are at least 50 guys in the parking lot waiting to abduct everyone. line of unmarked vans around the block
i gotta know more about the teleporting. doesn't seem to be volitional but does it only go to waffle house? does waffle house have a teleporter or is god sending you there? would everyone teleport to waffle house or do you appear in the place you love most?
i only do it because i have camera equipment so gate checking is an unacceptable risk. i dunno why people not carrying delicate stuff care
mykoreankitchen.com/korean-spicy... oi muchim, it's good. usually prefer Korean Bapsang for internet recipes but this one's better than hers
continuously expanding role for Drummer on The Expanse was a good one
yeah i don't really like pete but he's not a fascist so whatever, i'll take it
the bit in lower decks where mariner is changing the holodeck cum filters destroyed me
was not expecting to hear "cum filter" in star trek
i dunno if this beats the time he paged the bridge to let them know he was going to go masturbate in the holodeck so don't bother him
iirc that's why they picked it, it was an "if it works on this one it should work on any cancer" thing
they'd have to customize it for each type but it seems to be pretty close to a just general cure for cancer. changing the vaccine software to target whatever you have
also real loud 24/7 doesn't help
do not want the newspaper telling me how to toss my salad
the deeper i've gotten into sake over the years the less i like ginjos and daiginjos. not anti them but i like funkier stuff rather than just light and fruity. this futsushu is my favorite at the moment: www.truesake.com/products/kik...
right now i'm having kikuhime tsurunosato yamahai junmai
i'm drinking a fine sake right now while smugly reading these replies
there were never a ton of trump signs and shit around my bit of dayton (more of a rainbow flag neighborhood around here), but yeah it has been fun to see 100% of them disappear. i get jumpscared by seeing trump stuff again when i go out to the wilderness between dayton and cincinnati
and stroads, good lord the new parts of chinese cities are the world kings of stroads. 14 lane monstrosities in a district that's 80% empty apartment towers
i don't know, i couldn't find the original post. could be anywhere tbh. the most midwest looking place i've ever been outside the midwest was kanazawa northwest of the train station
