Can’t help but feel a lot of that sentiment has to do less with accidents that are truly unavoidable and more that driving as a secondary focus has become socially acceptable. For example how can one be expected to pay attention to the road 100% of the time when there is also phone.

You’re a teacher? And you can’t process that format? Yikes.

Still one of my favorites. Putting it in my helga commander deck as an actual value add was deeply satisfying

Instead of typing what you want your email to say into an AI and then pasting its output into the email you can just type what you want your email to say directly into the email. Follow me for more time saving tips.

Bullshit it does. Forcing people to be subject to someone else’s faith-based interpretation of healthcare is the violation. This is just another example of why it’s vital we replace private insurance with tax funded public healthcare.

Kat did more for her district while running for office than most do while in office. Hope she gives it another try someday.

I’ve never had someone approach and ask like that. Usually they kinda linger curiously in passing by the table and we take a pause to say hi and ask if they’ve played the game before. Once in a while you pull in a new gaming friend but most often it’s just nice and makes the person feel welcome.

There’s also the subtext of the claim being they think the ability to type out a paragraph describing something into a text box is a skill you need to start practicing now. It’s like man, how did you even get this far in a job without already being able to do that.

Your initial outburst was over the mere suggestion of a better candidate. To your Q, we don’t know who’s running yet and I don’t know every politician, but i’d be willing to bet anyone that’s even close to for example a Mamdani sort of candidate would do pretty well right now.

Are you pre-emptively against a more progressive candidate? Are you against the dems actually winning? The fact it upsets you that people want a better candidate just doesn’t line up with what you’re claiming to support.

6 days ago 0 0 1 0

Nobody is claiming otherwise. The point is, in reality, if the dems want those votes they need to put up a candidate who can get them. Shaming and complaining doesn’t work. It’s weird to me that you think they shouldn’t do that strategy.

That’s the spirit. Good first step.

Except that didn’t work. And it’s foolish to think it will work again just because you think it should. So maybe put up someone those people want to vote for instead.

Gonna go out on a (short) limb and say this administration didn’t even know what the Strait of Hormuz was or even that it existed going into this. I think they can barely find Iran on a labeled map.

You seem to have misread what she wrote. “Someone worth voting for” is not the same as “something to vote against”.

I think it will take changes to the election system, such as ranked choice voting and campaign finance laws for example. The system needs to support true freedom of choice and then I think we’ll see successful third parties emerge. Under the current election environment it is by design not possible.

In explaining how the bureaucracy works to uphold injustices the phrase “killing the messenger” has really become salient to me.

Ppl are more angry at the ones speaking up because we cant undo unjust systems overnight than those causing harm. If it were possible, there would be no need to organize

Ahhh these guys were so cool! All the gear they had made them feel like terminators but then you get them on the table and their imperial guardness smacks you back to reality.

I started in the red card era in the US. Dwarfs were $6.50 for a blister of two. Warmachines were $12.50 and hero character box sets were about $20 which was out of my price range.
