I talk about nihilism a lot with clients because I think you're right on. Im an optimistic nihilist. For instance, it really doesn't matter if men wear shorter shorts and show off their chest hair but I would really like it if more did.

I was reflecting on why I feel successful. By the metrics of capitalism, I am not.

My metric of success is the ability to live authentically and not hate myself.
