Todays Bake! Decided to make some sourdough cinnamon rolls just because 🕺 🍜
Today’s bread bake was a cocoa crusted sourdough batard. I was hoping for more of an open crumb, but I’ll take what I can get. 🍜🥖
My family and I make one huge batch to last us through the season and also because we don't ever want to make them again 😂

I’ll agree with this one 100%
I was making Caesar Salads at home for dinner, and I had some leftover sourdough that I cut up and turned into croutons that I burned. Sadly, I couldn't fix those unfortunately
So are you more of a baker or more of a cook on the savory side??
Was it so much extra flour that it couldn't be fixed by adding a little more water??
That’s good that you’ve had people around you to show you your mistakes. I care, and I’m not lazy when it comes to cooking, nor do I shortcut anything I cook. I believe in doing things the right way. But part of cooking is learning those mistakes and how to fix them.
It’s all about confidence and knowing how to fix it if you fuck something up. People always want to overthink food. If you have some food knowledge and you know flavor profiles, you can be unstoppable. Maybe it’s just all the years in professional kitchens. Who knows 🤷♂️
