Redblacks moved WR Jeremy Murphy to the Retured list. He was the Bombers 3rd-round pick in 2023 and played 3 games for the Bombers in two seasons.

Last year Collaros + Lawler + Schoen + Demski + Oliveira was about 30% of the salary cap.

With WR Dillon Mitchell already added is there enough left for Schoen & Lawler?

I think a lot of Bomber fans yearn for the Jefferson-Jeffcoat days (even though we’re only 1 season removed from it).
This feels like a step back toward that.

Looks like the CFL did a pretty good job with ensuring teams have similar rest over the season.

The Bombers are +11, mostly because of the Week 1 bye.

Ticats are -11...after Labour Day they play Montreal on 4 days rest with MTL coming off a bye.

Great news about Evan Holm re-signing with the Bombers.

After the season Holm told us that he and his partner are expecting their first child. And that they were looking to be in Winnipeg together as soon as possible.

Bombers announce they've re-signed LBs Kyrie Wilson and Shayne Gauthier.

Wilson is 32 and has battled injuries over the last four seasons.

Personally, I love the thought of it. Having two elite receivers (in addition to Demski, Mitchell, etc) means you'll always have options.

They had awful luck with injuries last season. Had Schoen played the full season I think they'd have been #1/#2 again

The question becomes: is Mitchell a straight addition to the Bombers receiving corps? Or is he replacing some vet they know will not be returning.

Kenny Lawler and Dalton Schoen are pending free agents.

Mitchell had 58 catches for 727 yards and 4 TD for the Elks last season.

Funnily enough, he features in CJOB's intro to our fantasy segment, scorching the Bombers for a TD.
