Ich habe mich gefreut bei der Vorstellung der neue nationale Empfehlung für Stilldauer (AWMF S-3 Leitlinie) als unabhängige Expertin dabei zu sein. Die neue Leitlinie empfiehlt sechs Monate ausschließlich und mindestens zwölf Monate insgesamt zu stillen:

I’m a bit surprised by the conclusion but I’m not an anthropologist. If you’ve ever tried to latch a human baby with retrognathia to the human breast you’ll notice, it’s very difficult. The chin is important for support of the breast, stabilizing it in the infant’s soft palate during breastfeeding.
