i feel like i'm sitting Shiva for myself

struggling with shutdown. the past month has tremendously overwhelmed me. doing my best not to lose communication, but i feel myself fading away more.

i don't know how to navigate becoming higher and higher support needs without any access to more support and only increasing responsibilities.

So here’s the thing.

Rest is good. It’s vital, whether you’re chronically ill or not.

But when you’re chronically ill, it’s really goddamned annoying. Like oh, thank you, body, guess I’ll just lie here and think about all the shit I was supposed to do but can’t because you threw a shit fit.

Much appreciate the suggestion! I've heard of rice water washes but have been hesitant due to concern of not doing it right and being sticky (autistically cannot handle sticky). I will give your instructions a shot for sure tho, now that I have liquid shampoo to unsticky if need be lol

I used to always be cold and still mostly am, but perimenopause and POTS has changed that this year. Even when I'm cold tho, hyperhydrosis causes me to sweat constantly so in heat I dehydrate even quicker.
