Pete Hegseth is ending the flu vaccine mandate. “But we will not force you, because your body, your faith and your convictions are not negotiable,” he said.
Stupid.
Does this apply to other vaccines?
How about killing the other sides soldiers?
Are these now negotiable?
Worst Defense Secretary ever!

“The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality is in trouble,
And the help it needs better come on the double,
Its survival is in doubt,
No one to pass the money out,
May soon be another jewel lying in the ‘king’s’ rubble.”

“Proud Boys and Oath Keepers deserved to be prosecuted,
But these January 6th losers had their sentences commuted,
It’s really no mystery,
Why the ‘king’s’ erasing history,
But that they’re seditious thugs remains undisputed.”

"The ‘king’ has heaped scorn on the Pope,
A faith leader who inspires great hope,
The Pope truly wants peace,
The ‘king’? His palm greased,
Americans are at the end of their rope."

"Pete Hegseth created more friction,
By quoting from the movie Pulp Fiction,
He thought it was the Bible,
Committed slander, not libel,
His reputation underwent crucifixion."

The Artemis II mission brought back fond memories of growing up during the 1960s space race. I wrote this song as a nostalgic tribute to the many hours I spent watching spaceships on TV.
If you ever dreamed of traveling among the stars, you are going to love “Space Age Boys”.

“Folks detained by ICE are dying at a record rate,
Unlikely it’s due to anything they ate,
‘UNDETERMINED CAUSE’,
Should give us all pause,
Shouldn’t be treated as enemies of the state.”

“Women should not be allowed to vote,
Is the latest Christian fascist off-note,
In their theocracy,
Women are on bended knee,
And with a man’s hand on their throat.”

I'm not seeing many young people at the No Kings protests, which in most places are not on campus. At the end of the day I suppose it doesn't matter as long as they vote against the current administration that has taken so much away from them. It's a bad look, though, to not be out on the streets.
I keep hearing about this "other forms of resistance" idea, and it may very well be true, but I'm still waiting for some data to define what this is, and how widespread it is. Hard to judge when one is not tuned in to this other space, and I don't know what that other space even is.
No doubt this plays a role in this. The author was suggesting that young people are not engaged because they're busy, but because their ability to respond to all the turmoil has been damaged by online algorithms. I'm hoping some younger folks weigh in on this suggestion and whether or not it's true.
If you've gone to almost any of the large protests in the last year, you likely have noticed that the crowd definitely skews towards older folks. Where are the young people?
This article blames smart phone algorithms. What do you think?

Who do you trust to provide you with reliable information? It's bad enough that many folks depend on influencers who have no idea what they're talking about or have their own agendas. Sadly, some folks are putting their trust in AI. In this case, with fatal results:

“The world just got some really crazy news,
The ‘king’ will stop traffic in the Strait of Hormuz,
By causing oil to be blocked,
Stock prices will be rocked,
One more ripple after the ‘king’ lit the fuse.”

"One thing that’s crystal clear ‘bout the ‘king’,
He ain’t Jesus, and that’s a sure thing,
Blasphemy’s on display,
Hell’s his secret highway,
His opposition’s growin’ and on the upswing.”

“Now the mad ‘king’ is attacking the Pope,
Continues his slide down the stupidity slope,
The Pope asked for peace,
Wants the war to cease,
A request that offered millions of people hope.”
Limerick Project Day 447
“USAID and the EPA have sadly been wrecked,
OSHA and the CDC have had their missions decked,
With law firms crushed,
And court orders flushed,
Is there any wonder the ‘king’ gets no respect?”

“The “Stars and Stripes” paper is being changed,
It’s mission and news sources rearranged,
It will cause much harm,
As Trump’s propaganda arm,
Its readers will find themselves short-changed.”

There's a new study that shows that the HPV vaccine is associated with a significant reduction in oropharyngeal cancer in boys who were vaccinated between the ages of 9 to 26.
Another win for the HPV vaccine!
