Remembering Prince Rogers Nelson, who was born on June 7, 1958, in Minneapolis. Known for his flamboyant, androgynous persona, Prince released his debut album, For You, in 1978. In his lifetime, he released 39 studio albums and sold over 100 million 👇
records. In 1984, Prince became the first singer to simultaneously have a #1 film, album & single in the US, with the film Purple Rain, its soundtrack and his first Billboard Hot 100 hit single "When Doves Cry." His innumerable accolades include induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004,
the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2006, and the Rhythm and Blues Music Hall of Fame in 2016. Prince died on April 21, 2016, of an accidental overdose due to chronic pain. On April 20, 2026, the Prince estate released "With This Tear” a song recorded by Prince in 1991.

Alan Osmond, the eldest of the Osmond Brothers, has died tonight at age 76. Alan played piano and guitar and arranged the choreography for the band. Alan was diagnosed with MS in 1987, but no cause of death has been released.
