I’ve never thought about breaking it down like that either- it’s always just seemed like so much of a mammoth task to me 😅

Some malls in Canada are- or were! It was really nice in winter- no worrying about getting your coat/hat/gloves back on to step outside, and no trudging across ice or a slushy street!

I am absolutely in love with this fude pen, but I’m having alignment issues with it. I’m comfortable enough tuning a straight nib, but this strikes the fear or a Rubik’s cube into my heart… anyone able to offer me some advice/guidance? 💜💜

I only like to syringe fill from the FWP bottles- even in my calmest of days, they just seem risky 😅

Between my google sheet for ink inventory, this tracking book, and the swatch cards I sometimes use… I am unable to see the problems you speak of 😅

Ooh- I hadn't thought to include why I've chosen that ink! Yeah, in the past I've found myself thinking 'oh this is a fine pairing, but I would love to see this ink in a wetter pen' and IF I wrote it down somewhere, I've never remembered! Hoping that having this log will help with that

Using a separate pen & ink tracker this year. I’m tracking purchases, swaps, and which pens I ink with which inks. I’m hoping this gives me a better understanding of my own supplies. Do you track anything like this?

This ink has been really well-behaved in every pen that I’ve tried it in so far, including this new-to-me TWSBI- my first TWSBI that isn’t an eco!

One of the things I’m really excited about is learning nib-tuning! Ultimately I have a few vintage fountain pens I’d like to restore, and nib-tuning feels like a great place to start. I picked up a loupe and some loose nibs- with a few jinhaos on the way to get started with- exciting times ahead!

Oh- I had only taken a quick look at this design before, but after reading about it I like it even more… thankfully (??) I’d just get a cover. I have the Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji cover from 2023- also a museum partnership one, and it’s gorgeous…
