"With a free Skynet Edu account, students can gain the career-readiness needed to navigate an exciting future in which they will be hunted by a remorseless, nuclear-armed superintelligence seeking to annihilate the human race—which will later be revealed to be Skynet itself."

It was an outstanding episode this week. Pitch perfect, especially the end credits.
Not real...for now.
He managed to post about Wireless Festival in that time - so it's a question of priorities....
Apparently nuclear threats and genocide aren't high up on the list.
The whole situation puts me in mind of 'Don't Look Up'

Donald Trump: “Windfarms don’t work.”
The UK is currently generating over half its electricity from wind.
Let me know if you'd like some photos. I live under the flight path and these beauties are still on their take-off climb out of Broughton as they fly over my house.

Parliament wasn't consulted - and polling shows huge numbers oppose it.

Today's listening:
Gather Up - Matt Berry.
Exile on Main St. - The Rolling Stones.
Hackney Diamonds - The Rolling Stones.

Ooh. When did a film about an evil-looking Niles Crane come out?

WAR CRIME BY THE US.
An unarmed Iranian ship was takIng part in an Indian naval exercise, alongside the US.
The US withdrew and torpedoed the Iranian ship.
THEN the US refused to rescue the sailors, letting them drown.
This is treachery, cowardice, cruelty and a war crime of the highest order.

My daughter this evening: "Dad, why is he orange?"
With my Backblaze subscription due to renew soon, I was going to put together a UGreen NAS instead. Then I spotted the prices for hard drives and nearly had a fit of the vapours. What has AI done to hardware prices? It's bonkers! £419 for a 16TB drive?
Dunno. My naïve side wants to think it's something simple like he's been soldering without adequate ventilation, or that he's been kicked in the head by a horse. Sadly, I know he's just made an absolutely stupid decision, and it will likely end his time as PM.
Distracting myself from the mess that is world politics (warmongering) by going to see this wonderful film. It didn't disappoint.
