Attempting to switch off from work over half term (even if it’s just for a bit), with 2 books. One on audible for when I go out walking and one book for when I’m relaxing at home. Fingers crossed both get finished over half term

An extra day off was just what was needed. A great opportunity for me to catch up with some training, running on the trails: 33k and just over 500m elevation. Just can’t believe how lot the reservoirs are

Forgot I ordered this book. Looking forward to reading it but it may have to wait to be a half term read.

On a little (very little) plane to Inverness. Perfect opportunity to start reading @educatormissm.bsky.social new book. Already learning lots 😊 (loving the free biscuit on the flight too)

Just finished reading Educating Everyone. Such an interesting read. Many things it talks about I already aim to do, linked to the work I’ve done with Thrive Approach, but as I read it, I could see some mistakes I still make and some of the main barriers we have in our school. #relationalinclusion

After a bit, well a lot of let’s say ‘faffing about’ I finally got out on the trails. 20km of blue skies and a lot of sun - beautiful. There was however some serious wind in places 🤦‍♀️.
Bring on the next big run (hopefully with less faffing 🤣)

I’ve not been to conference like this for a couple of years and loved being back at one. So many great speakers and all linked to exactly what I want to work on! Thank you for coming to Manchester. I will be on the look out for more conferences

Thank you so much to #TDaPEManchester, Focus Trust and @annahackett.bsky.social for such a great day of CPD. Retrieval practice, rekenreks, progress in maths, golden threads and so much more. Lots of ideas to go back to school with.

After someone has hacked into my X and me being unable to access it (x refusing to help) I’ve decided to give here a try. Time to find and follow some people 😊
