Of course, for all his calls to action on Facebook, dude had no friends show up, which is tragic, because we really liked the people of New Milford.
We'd only heard about the anti-LGBTQ+ flyering of Deep River Public Library's speaking event featuring Jillian Celentano a couple hours beforehand, but we made it out nonetheless! As usual, the solidarity of the community was stronger than the fascists' hate. It was a joy to hang out with everyone.
