My family is so damn creative with their birthday gifts.
#1 - a 3D printed & hand-painted Gul’dan statue.
#2 - an AI-generated art print of my Ford Mustang with my dog, Delta, and my cat, Saturn.
#3 - a Dachshund version of Vincent van Gogh’s “Starry Night”.

I think this is a good thing. Microsoft has shown a willingness to properly invest in games properties in a way that Activision hasn't.

This.
I got flamed in my WoW Discord for saying I was having fun w/ DI because it’s such a meme in the community. But it’s an enjoyable little piece of content and most of the people talking shit had never downloaded it.
Does this beautiful creature live in London, ON? Cuz I swear I met him (or his twin) while walking my dog yesterday.
I guess my thoughts would be - it depends on what they’re deleting, and why. Are they deleting superfluous junk data (like my browsing habits from 2009?) Or are they deleting stuff to hide wrongdoing? Or are they deleting stuff that provides important context to current events?
I’m only a short way through it, but the fact that I’m actually able to seamlessly play a complex game like Diablo on a mobile device is… pretty impressive.
The controls are easy. Crusader feels satisfying to play. The graphics are good. It’s solid.
Unpopular opinion:
Diablo Immortal is actually a good game.
*ducks*
Saturday Night Live and Colbert are missing out on some truly epic content this month, because the writer’s strike hasn’t been settled.
Imagine all the Titanic submarine and Threads vs. Twitter jokes we’ll never hear!!
Thanks guys! Gonna look at all these.
I’ve never picked up MTG, but I play Hearthstone cuz I’m a Blizzard fanboy.
OSRS is on my to-be-downloaded list as well - that’s a game I absolutely LOVED as a kid. I’ve also got World of Warships, Clash of Clans and RAID, cuz I couldn’t ignore the ads.
Got myself a free iPad today (thanks RBC, lol) and decided to give mobile gaming an honest try. Any suggestions on good games?
So who’s gonna be first to develop the app that lets dorks like me cross-post all our crap to Twitter, Threads, Blue Sky, Hive, Spoutible and Post?
I've heard it since I moved here - but things have got measurably worse in that 10 year span, I think?
I'm doing the streaming thing now, because why not.

My immediate family made the inexplicable decision to follow my Twitter, so they already know I'm a degenerate.
I already don’t like the amount of junk posts in my Threads feed. Not a fan.
Mark already knows all my dirty secrets, so I made one of these too.
A little farther south, and it hits Calgary suburbs and potentially kills hundreds more.
And a primary source of emergency information was just ... gone. Kaput. Useless, for residents in danger, and for news agencies.
Also, on the point of the storm - does anyone realize how big a fucking bullet we dodged as a country? It was an EF-4 tornado, with winds topping 275kmph.
It carved a perfect path between two communities - a little north, or a little south, and it could've killed hundreds.
Eventually newsrooms will figure out that it's no longer worth posting our content on Twitter because it's no longer reaching valuable eyes.
If everyone's rate-limited by blue-check shitposts and crappy ads, what's the point?
And there was no way for us to figure out exactly where, or how destructive it was, because all our primary sources of information were "rate-limited".
So if we can't get information from the website, when it's literally part of our job, how will anyone else?
I think it'll be a trickle-down effect. From the perspective of using Twitter as a newsroom tool to find the fastest information, it's completely degraded to basically being useless. Last weekend, being a perfect example - the tornado in AB.
We knew there was a storm. But we didn't know how bad.
Love it. Everyone's got one of those.
That's like me and WoW in some ways - when I'm feeling bad, brain off and go do mindless achievements or something.
I have questions.
You really like Stardew Valley, huh? 😉
So I finally watched Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves last night.
What an excellent movie. Can we have more AAA studio movies that take game / fantasy titles seriously?
D&D is fantastic. Uncharted was… OK? The Warcraft movie was.. 👀 - fun to see Stormwind in CGI, I guess?
These are always fun.
10 games to get to know me:
World of Warcraft (since Vanilla!)
Diablo
Guild Wars 2
Pokémon (any of them!)
Elder Scrolls series
Fallout series
Cyberpunk 2077
Warframe (duh)
Stellaris
Animal Crossing
I was today-years-old when I learned that FedEx stands for 'Federal Express'. 👀
