Oof, that's a punch in the gut but good on you for doing the right thing. π

Nice. Having the weather cooperate is a huge bonus!
You are putting the right spin on it!
What an amazing place. I need to go there one day. How were the crowds?
When you ask the bass player to start things off an he rolls a natural twenty. πΈ

π Okay, you changed my mind.
Well, that's interesting. From this point forward I am just going to assume I'm a secret cardinal, and I plan to act like one, until someone can prove otherwise.
I might even sit at a card table on college campuses with a sign that says "I am a secret cardinal. Change my mind."
You were right. The were 5 minutes in the mid 2000's when that was the case, although I might be exaggerating by about 4 minutes.
May I wake up. π¬
I came back to this post because I just turned on the news and they're talking about a big bank robbery and hostage situation over there. Crazy! Hope all is well.
Wow! Spectacular. I was gonna ask where you were but I saw Naples in the comments.
What was the meal? If I may inquire...
Is that the name of your new jazz fusion band? πΈ

I refuse to give directions.
Just watched the video. It was so nice to take the time and enjoy the Daily Shed again. Glad you shared the link to drive me back over there after so such a long time. Congratulations on the favorable response to your game! His story of how you met at Skyline all those years ago was great.
Album: I answer Black Sabbath is my favorite band but album most played as a kid was "Doobie Brothers Greatest Hits".
Whatever: Butter Pecan
Book: When asked, I say "Frankenstein" but I love "The Stainless Steel Rat" and "Sherlock Holmes" most.
Movie: "The Princess Bride" is my answer, but watch-them-any-time faves include "The Outlaw Josey Wales" an "Millers Crossing".
Very cool. I've been following his channel for years but haven't had much YouTube time for quite a while. I'll have to check this one out.
"The Amazing Spider-Man" 134 is the first one I remember purchasing with my own money. I got the wind knocked out of me because I read it while walking home and walked into a pole. I lay there gasping for air in a parking lot but continued reading! ππ Good times!
I love Shakespeare and used to go see Shakespeare in the Park in Boston but, yeah, I couldn't follow that dialog, I just enjoyed the theatrical performance. I enjoy Shakespeare's "words" more when it is at a cadence I can follow, like DiCaprio's "Romeo & Juliet" or Gibson's "Hamlet".
I'll have to check those out, too.
I remember renting the original on VHS. My sister and I tried to watch it but turned it off after about 30 minutes. I had no idea they "rebooted" it.
Good times. I remember digging into the cereal with my whole arm to find those little treasures. I also remember ads requesting "Just send in two box tops..." Or sometimes "Send in your proof-of-purchase codes". Eh, something like that.
Yeah, same here. I certainly don't think everything requires a response/conversation. In fact, I'd say most stuff doesn't. There are a lot of posts out there and it would be impossible to keep up if that happened.
Depluralize a movie:
A Dalmation
Replies. I'm on social media to be "social". I don't follow lots of people and try to reply to (or like) every post I see.
I enjoy engagement and banter. I think people follow so many others that they just scroll and don't chit-chat as much as years ago on social media. I'm still kinda old school.
Priorities. π
