also interesting contrast with the cigarettes that need an external means of lighting & how lighters often fail on the first try and need repeat attempts, her forcefully trying to make it/feelings for men spark vs rain & water representing her queerness that submerges her and drenches the cigarettes

much like how she feels no spark with men, and her finally coming to terms with that

loved the symbolism here, favs being the crack in the window representing the irreversible change accepting her queerness brings to her life and how the ex-bf brings up the crack in a tone of something that needs fixing. + the cigarettes being doused at the end, unable to be lit anymore
