It's insanely funny to me I use notation software to make chiptune music

I remember Theme 4 got really well received on Tik-Tok and that still makes me happy to this day because it was the first piece of music I finished since my grandfather had died in 2021

I wouldnt say it's a loss by any means. In fact, I feel less is more

I kinda feel like....a little sad my line work is less detailed as compared to before but also that hasnt done anywhere either....I honestly prefer not drawing 50 million lines for the hair 💀

I do so much research when designing characters, it's actually kinda insane.
I'm constantly thinking "oh how can I put this into the design? How can I add that too?"

But atp I had been so meticulous about the details in my art that it just stuck with me.
Idk I feel like I dont make sense but tldr; i thought detail = people caring about what I can offer and that wasnt true BUT it still became a boon for me

My attention to detail came from believeing nobody cared about my work and wouldnt care about my work until I was "good enough". So over time my art got more and more detailed. It's only after I saw detail had nothing to do with it that I realized "ah! That's not quite it. It's not my fault"

I think a lot about how I'm extremely detail oriented to the point of spending countless hours doing research for accuracy-sake and how the stems from an extremely negative place despite blooming into a good trait

As much as I'd love to dedicate time to coloring this....comms...So this will have to do for the portfolio 🥲

I'm pissed I didnt record this because I literally have the soundtrack from this game in a folder on my pc from this random obscure website that had a zip folder of all the tracks in the game like 8 years ago ewifghvedisfghei

I locked in because why did I barely have to correct the pose after making a ref to correct anatomy?
I havent studied so I'm confused why I'm doing so well on a full for once

working on this as a cooldown but also between comms (I almost finished a comm today ewfeshii)

A lot of characters dont have faces for years but have a good amount of lore to them. Example is Kiki, a general I have yet to design. Not much lore on her atm but I have a solid foundation of who she is and why she's important (she's one of 4 generals. Solona, Barrett, Minerva, and her)

I actually had a conversation with a friend about this where she said she found it difficult to write lore for her characters and she thought it was neat I had so much lore on my characters. I just write the lore and design the character after.

I have A LOT of OC lore. Like 9/10 if I post an OC (of mine) I drew, I have a ton of lore or a solid foundation of who they are and why I made them. I dont just design characters and make lore anymore. I write the lore then design the character.

I say former because Adrian was promoted to Head of Intelligence because he was so good at researching people and putting files together.
He also knows 13 languages but that's besides the point
