In his testimony today at the Cradock Four inquest Eugene de Kock, head of the apartheid death squad, makes it absolutely clear his orders to kill came from the top of the government
Throwback Thursday: I wrote this in 2009: "Belfast and Johannesburg: peas in a racist pod?" This serves as a small piece of evidence that, at least for Northern Ireland, racism is not a recent phenomenon but a persistent problem
Remember when Trump accused Zelensky of 'gambling with World War Three'.

Fantastic to deliver the keynote address on "Young People and Peacebuilding" at the INSPIRE NOW! 2.0 Conference yesterday. Truly inspirational youth-led event, see DiverseYouthNI's profile on Instagram for highlights: www.instagram.com/diverseyouth...

The "Board of Peace" is another Trump grift. He holds the power, draft Charter gives him 'exclusive authority' to hire and fire. Countries must fork over $1 billion for 'permanent membership'. Remit extends beyond Gaza. Blatant power grab, undermining global cooperation for his gain and influence.
Snubbed for not being a war criminal! I might have to up my game.
Feeling snubbed this morning! Apparently, my invite to Trump's 'Board of War'...sorry...'Board of Alleged Peace' got lost in the mail.
Well, that was the maddest final ever at #AFCON but delighted to see #Senegal win. Believe it or not but I have a bit of Senegalese 🇸🇳 DNA 🧬
A whirlwind start to the year: the flouting of international law, threats of occupation, ongoing bombing in Gaza ignored, the silence of complicity, UK hunger strikers about to die, and the tragic, inevitable violence that follows lawless US agencies. The slippery slope is getting more treacherous.
