I finally got around to reading this duology by Ally North. If you haven't read them yet, bump them up toward the top of your TBR. They are fantastic.

C'mon, Buddy. Hang in there!
Due to farm chores, I am a bit behind posting about a couple of recent ARC reads. Twice Bound by @saharaathenalane.bsky.social and Where Trust Leads Us by @katietrappauthor.bsky.social Both books have a wide variety of rep, good story telling and good spice. Give them a read!

A little timeline cleanse: Fern Ridge Reservoir, Lane County, Oregon

Sure, it can definitely be a thing. Corvids are amazing!
Market farming season is creeping up on us. Had to pause the ARC and beta reading to get some fertilizer on the garlic while the weather is decent. We have just over 5200 cloves planted this year. #gardening

Book mail! Thank you, @saharaathenalane.bsky.social ! I’m getting ready to dig in to this lovely book!

Thanks for the info.
Is it only the US that uses NOAA data (buoy data) or is it also used for international shipping companies, etc…?
Book cover for The Witch of Versailles by Jessica Mason. The artwork shows a woman and flowers.
I recently finished an ARC of The Witch of Versailles by @byjessicamason.bsky.social and enjoyed a deep dive into 1600s France, Louis XIV, and some crafty, herbalist witches. The FMC is driven and mission-oriented. Good Sapphic rep and lots of historical immersion. Available February 18th.

Never forget. Never forgive. Never again.
I just finished A Tide of Treason by
A. B. Daniels-Annachi. This book is not my usual genre, but the world building and storycraft were excellent and I devoured the book. Lots of action, good queer rep, and a bit of spice.

I am queer, Jewish, neurodivergent, a veteran, a farmer, former LEO, and posses a wide range of skills, some I hope to never have to use. I am also Gen-X, menopausal, and just really fucking tired…of everything. My existence is its own resistance, and I am not going anywhere. Bring it on.
We are throwing wadded up newspapers at the TV, just like we do when watching The Sound of Music and the Baroness comes on the screen.
Excellent choice. Comfort food is mandatory today.
I just finished an ARC of Song for You by @rochellewolfauthor.bsky.social , a sweet sapphic novella w/ diverse, artsy folks, supportive friends, low angst, familiar side characters from their other books. and happiness. It comes out late February and should go on your TBR!

Yes, please! (…off to tell others to follow you and hurry this process along…)
Hmm…grudges—I’d like to have a ‘chat’ with the two Peppermint Patties who clotheslined me during Red Rover in 2nd grade. They broke the rules, broke my collarbone, and 47 years later, I would still like a word. 😈 Also-shiny trinkets are always awesome.
I think I saw some info explaining this site is less algorithm-driven than others. I am pissed at Meta but really like the vibe of Threads. I am still trying to figure this place out. 🤷♀️
I am trying to keep far away from X but some of the critical fire reports I follow are primarily on that hellsite. I still need to check if any of those accounts have migrated over here.
I finished Trust in Me last night and am just starting Promise Me. 🔥🔥🔥Good stuff!
Hi Corn Cob!! Please meet Spring Roll (really her name):
Maybe a $$ benefit? I feel like having a shit ton of followers would stress me the hell out and make me feel pressured to produce content. Zero stars for that kind of feeling/pressure.
Here, although I mostly use it like a news feed. Once in a while, I make a random post. I’m glad you are staying. I appreciate the heads-ups you give about weather and aurora activity.
Awesome book mail today! Thank you @sapphicbookreview.bsky.social and @albrookswriter.bsky.social for the opportunity to win this book. 😊#sapphicbooks
Thanks for the info!
Can you share the brand? I am looking for these for a couple of family members.
