Hello, I’m Liz! I’m a disabled autistic trans woman with cPTSD. My partner is a working-disabled enby with ADHD, chronic pain, and mobility issues. Together we live with our two dogs, six inside cats, and a colony of stray cats that we care for. We don’t receive any regular financial benefits, and what random bits of assistance we can wrangle is few, far between, and not sufficient to keep us afloat. We live in an old, decaying mobile home with few appliances, and most of what we do have is also in poor condition. We are almost constantly behind on our rent and bills due to late fees and the continually rising cost of living. We recently managed to get a new vehicle, enabling us to do many things we were unable to this past year, but also saddling us with even more and much larger bills to pay. Mutual aid helps keep us going while we struggle to get caught up and improve our situation.
