Blossoms just opened this morning. About a month later than my red berry plants, but bigger.

I’m just west of Mt Hood now after a lifetime in Phoenix. I’m high on fertile soil and plants that aren’t begging for moisture. I’ve blown my budget on seeds and pots, and when my seedlings start to pop up it about makes me cry with joy.

Last year I bought strawberry plants I was told would produce white strawberries that taste like pineapple. They never fruited last year, but they’re looking like they’re about ready to now. Can’t wait to see what they do!
