Next sat I will be at the Cambridge Literary festival. I have a new Mjolnir as the last one was getting floppy from too much smiting of giants. Get your hands on the new Loki editions, with added short stories, games and norse facts (well, myths). www.cambridgeliteraryfestival.com/events/louie...

Government apparently more willing to ask people to embrace AI than migrants, for a start, which is just wild.
Eyyyyyyy! Is this the first 'dinlo' ever to make it into the Guardian?

Screengrab from NASA’s YouTube live feed of Artemis II showing the four astronauts chilling in the capsule. Reid and Christina are high-fiving in the background.
A little high-five in space and my heart melts once again. #ArtemisII
This.
I’ve just been watching the live feed and listening them talk about their feelings and I am treasuring these moments of hope and connection in the face of so much else.
I’ve just been listening to the scientists talk about their reactions to seeing the moon and the importance of being able to share this experience with each other. It made me feel just a little bit hopeful in the face of everything else.
Pretty envious of the four people who are more than 250,000 miles from Earth right now.
Listening to one of the astronauts tell his family he loves them from close to the moon is an antidote to literally everything else right now.
Wallace and Gromit having a picnic on the Moon in ‘A Grand Day Out’
‘first humans flying around the moon in 50 years’ oh yeah well how do you explain this then

On Sunday evening, I will be publishing a book on the Amazon KDP platform in a live online workshop.
Basically, if you want to see how self-publishing on Amazon is done before you do it yourself, tune in.
It is a pay what you can event, and all proceeds go to a great charity in Gaza.
Ahhh! That explains why I missed it, as I was busy teaching English to the businesspeople of Cologne in 2006 :)
I saw a play recently where a character did that halfway through and it's all I could think about for the whole second half
I love the composition of the photo, with “GO ALL [this expression]” as the message.
You are so lovely – yes, it would be an honour xxx
I believe you! I'm sure you've been too busy with House Things to play endlessly. And I bow down to your 100-jump brilliance.
Incredible! I got to about 11 and decided my sanity wasn’t up to the task of getting better at this.
'English Catholicity' is a crime against language.
Oh god I *tore* through that book. It's got the textual equivalent of whatever they put in Pringles in it.
At last, one of those joyful days that brings the whole internet together
How can I express the vast amount of ick I had to get over in order to listen to this (excellent) episode
Me too! We must catch up again soon xx
Yes I have healthy coping mechanisms and they are all audio-related hahahahahaa no I’m fine totally fine
There are so many slices of life we have to navigate: work, family, health, the state of the world (oh god), nurturing a crumb of our actual selves – I feel it’s normal to feel overwhelmed. I find talking to friends helps. That or taking refuge in audiobooks so I can’t hear my own thoughts.
Lads lads lads there's a kids comics pop up at Waterstones Piccadilly, don't know how long it's up for but it looks incredible! (And you might spot Loki there in the "not quite comics but almost" section!) www.instagram.com/p/DV6Os5jDRD...
Or even on the shelf. Sorry, the formula has this effect on me.
Well you could hardly leave the vial of secret formula on the self, could you.
So so glad my hair is sticking in weird directions on this, the one day when I have to meet all my clients
