3. See what emerges from the spaces between people that none might have imagined alone.
4. Remember that we are stronger together.
5. Borrow the prompts and format for your own community, if that serves.
An event description: Multisolving Moment: Investing in Community and Self-Resilience Date & Time Apr 30, 2026 12:00 PM in Eastern Time (US and Canada) Description How are you investing in community and self-resilience right now? This Multisolving Moment will provide an open space for attendees to discuss answers to that question and learn from the Institute and from one another what has worked for us during uncertain times. Out of respect for attendees’ privacy, this session will not be recorded.
Five reasons to join our Multisolving Moment Virtual Gathering on April 30.
1. Share your wisdom to support others - how are you nurturing individual and collective resilience?
2. Tap into the support and creativity of fellow travelers wrestling with similar challenges.
What We Need Is Here
Geese appear high over us,
pass, and the sky closes. Abandon,
as in love or sleep, holds
them to their way, clear
in the ancient faith: what we need
is here. And we pray, not
for new earth or heaven, but to be
quiet in heart, and in eye,
clear. What we need is here

I'm curious about the ways that AI might facilitate that connecting rather than short circuiting it. Or maybe how might AI be developed, guided, regulated with the goal of connecting us in mind?
"Art is good because it connects us."
I'd include writing within the bigger category of art.
And I'd include it connecting us with ourselves as well as with one another.

How are you and your community maintaining or boosting community and self-resilience in these times of destabilization? Join us to explore that question at this month's Multisolving Moment - a virtual gathering to build community and share ideas. April 30th 12pm ET. Register: us06web.zoom.us/meet...
the mostly empty woodshed of a white house with a black roof. There is a very brown wreath with a red bow centered above the woodshed.
Well we finally got around to taking down the christmas wreath only to discover a phoebe nest with three eggs in it. I guess we will be keeping the christmas spirit alive for a little longer!
New (to me) important word just dropped.
Multisolving Moments are a regular gathering hosted by Multisolving Institute to build community and share ideas. The next one is April 30 at 12PM ET when we will explore actions folks are finding helpful to build both individual and community resilience in the midst of destabilization.

Here in New Mexico I fear for the impact our dwindling aquifer will have on our way of life. Less rain and snow and hotter weather means it’s not replenishing, and in not too long, things will have to adapt - sharply. Not happy about what that looks like, alas.
Hey there, happy Multisolving Monday - wherein I ask a question for reflection from my book Multisolving - Creating Systems Change in a Fractured World, with the question selected for it's relevance to the events of the week. bookshop.org/p/books/mult...
(Hint - a stock is something that accumulates in a system, like money in the bank, water in a cistern, fuel in a fuel tank).
For your own life, community, or organization, what are some stocks that might be most impacted by the kinds of disruptions or shocks that you expect in coming months/years? How are you (or could you be) preparing? (From Chapter 11, Multisolving in Tumultuous Times.

What I like best about the Artemis II photos is that it was taken by actual humans. An actual person had to frame it and manually adjust settings. It's their own artistic rendition of what they thought looked best at the time, something no probe, rover or unmanned spacecraft can take. it's art
Map showing snow water equivalent percent of the 1991-2020 median for the Western United States on April 10, 2026.
This is a frightening map, especially given the fact that this is normally near the peak in snowpack across the West. There are many far-reaching consequences from this historic snow drought, ranging from increasing risk of summer wildfires to major water concerns.
