Reflecting on Kim Hill:
the skill of being fully present, then razor sharp astute, present then astute, leaning forward then back. So impressive. So needed in a democracy.

It is an extremely weak excuse. The government still
has power to make decisions. It's just that right now there are two very highly paid ministers instead of one.

Do we think journalists consciously decided this should be buried and ignored or are just humans juggling a lot and missed it?

Their response to the situation in Gaza has been hugely disappointing too.

Went to see my local MP today about Gaza. It went surprisingly well and I've just heard the govt is going to be calling for a ceasefire! Thank freaking goodness πŸ™

Don't let anyone gaslight you into thinking that standing against genocide is being against a particular ethnic group of people. Standing against genocide is simply pro humanity. There are enough horrendous diseases and accidents that take us humans out without us turning against each other.

Can our govt please stop using the self defence line? That was relevant in the days immediately after the Hamas attack. It's completely ridiculous now. Update your lines already. #nzpol

If anyone is feeling crappy about themselves today I tried on a top to see if it still fit me this morning and had to cut myself out. Enjoy the rest of your day.

In 2008 TVNZ sent me to Rwanda. I saw the aftermath of genocide. I wondered how the world could've done nothing while it happened... now I know. I won't sit back and do nothing while I watch another genocide happening before my eyes.
