I'm not on LinkedIn for the connections. I'm there for the thought leadership. It's amazing the number of people that have insight into the future and how AI will impact us. Truly mind-blowing. I really would like to be like them when I grow up. So much confidence.

I'm just hoping Marty McFly is somewhere fixing the future.
The ones who fueled inequality for decades now say they want to save people. Left, right, doesn’t matter. Country, doesn’t matter. The lie is everywhere.
You’d think that with more knowledge and better understanding, we’d reach saner conclusions. But why bother with facts when populism pays better than truth?
Only when I'm out. At home I weigh stuff.
And reducing fat is overstated. It's not like I was indulging previously with fatty food.
Increased carbs. Reduced fat.
No. I also do exercise. But I was doing exercises before and wasn't helping.
I cannot recommend Yazio enough. I started tracking my calories at the end of May with the goal of eating healthier and losing weight. After nearly 2 years struggling to lose a couple of kilos, I managed to lose 11'5 kg in under 4 months!
We always thought that traditional media was biased and withheld the whole truth. Now we believe we know the truth because of social media. What we fail to understand/admit, regardless of the algorithms, is that we are seeking confirmation of our own biases.
Yep.
The Classic. If I were to buy another one, I'd go for the slightly larger size.
And that's why I enjoy my Kamado more than my Traeger.
Whether I work on or advocate for or don't advocate for, it's happening. Secondly, I don't believe AI is bad and didn't say it's bad for us. I said there are some things that I wonder how they'll be replaced, and I gave a very specific example. Other things I'm glad they'll be replaced.
And since when has my work influenced my opinion on matters Frans? I believe I've always said how and what I feel.
I wonder, how we'll manage to feel sense of accomplishment when AI takes over everything. Pretty sure in the future there will be smokers with AI, and you'll get the best darn brisket with zero effort. But there's something so special about knowing it was your work that did it.
Someone recently told me we're better off because of what Assange and Snowden did.
Right....

Except JetBrains never had a constant bombardment campaign of JB ❤️ OSS. We have always been open about what we do, how we contribute, and our goals as a business. And we have never misled anyone. In fact we have many initiatives supporting OSS authors and projects. We don't focus on marketing of it.
It never was. That's my point. Just like MS never really gave a crap about OSS but people bought into that nonsense, promoted by those that call themselves community leaders.
Folks shocked at Microsoft's move with GitHub - my advice, cynicism is often a good trait.
The concept of a zebra crossing is new in Naples, or it's new in all of Italy?
CraftAgents.
A new movement in the software industry that offers you highly-paid consultants who will make sure your agents are following SOLID principles and applying TDD.
AI doesn't commit fraud against people. People commit fraud against people.
Everything about it. The event. The format. And especially this notion of the epitome of your accomplishment is giving a TED talk to a bunch of entitled people.
They say never say never, but one thing I'd never do is a TED talk, even if I were given the opportunity. I despise everything about them.
It's absolutely devastating to see how politicians create wedges between people, countries, and nationalities. And as a people, we continue to fall to their narratives because it's always easier to blame others.
I personally welcome the change of no longer needing to take your shoes off when traveling. Now if only they'd find a vaccine for measles, maybe they could slow down the ever-increasing number of cases in the US.
Empty calories.
