Hey all, I was unfortunately laid off from my job of 3 years working as an environment concept artist @ clockwork labs last week. It was a fun stretch - but now I am seeking a new role! I'll be posting some of my favorite concepts I did during my time there.
How to 3D paint fur & feathers in Marmoset Toolbag 🐰
Painting complex forms like feathers and fur can be a brushstroke away, no modeling or sculpting required.
In this demo, we build a Tile Strip brush, then tweak its settings to quickly paint soft fur and flight feathers.

As a artist you should be looking at what others are doing but don’t get lost treating it as reference or research you should also just be enjoying it for the sake of it being nice and it speaking to you in some way. If you treat it all as fuel for your self you make everything work and lose play.
