Isn’t part of the gift of LARP — during the LARP itself— the opportunity to turn off that meta cognitive appraisal of interactions.
That happened for me by accident at the first College of Wizardry… I was just so tired I went to bed when it was over and then had a lovely solo walk in the morning before joining everyone for the first off-game breakfast.
In retrospect, the perfect closure to the experience.
