I got extremely lucky to have someone that wants to play AlphaStrike and Classic Battletech frequently (and two others that will play Classic occasionally).
We were actually chatting about doing an AlphaStrike demo day to try and teach and recruit some new folks to play.

As much as I liked the simplicity of the campaign management of Scouring Sands (because it worked quite well, in my opinion), I think that's the one thing that I would have liked to have seen is being able to salvage mechs in a non-story capacity.
Ever since I first saw the Jenner I thought it looked like something else. Decades later I finally got around to making a comic strip about it.

Love this little comic.
Puts a new meaning to "Death From Above" 😄
Even though it wasn't in the story, I figured salvaging a Marauder IIC 10 wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility for the campaign.

What a lovely mech my mercenaries were able to salvage on Apolakkia.

*Waves goodbye to future money.* 😅
And I'm actually looking forward to the aerospace box.
Hey folks! If you're looking to commission some pretty amazing artwork. *POINTS IN THE DIRECTION OF THIS AMAZING ARTIST HERE.*
She's been doing incredible art commissions for me since (mumbles *2004* to hide the fact that I'm over 40 now)! So why not give her a looksie!
just a cartoonist
Ooo! That looks like it would look spiffy next to a mech junkyard or chop shop or something of that nature.
Btw, a quick question if you don't mind: what colors did you use to paint that?
"I said, take your medicine and stop being a problem patient!"
That was the last time I flew about two years ago. Only saving grace was the agent was nice and discreet about it but still was a bleh experience overall.
Yup! That's the ones! :-)
Definitely helps with storage once done.

Took me a while to get here, but I finally am doing my last Scouring Sands sortie (#19).
I have really enjoyed it and can't wait for Snowblind. I've also been writing little vignettes in between the different sorties in the form of a solo RP to make it all more meaningful.

Date night with my wife as we try to decide on a movie to watch together.
My wife: we can watch whatever you want.
Me: The Lord of the Rings! (Extended of course).
My wife: EXCEPT THAT.
First up we have the Uziel's Aces command lance. Featuring the now notorious Mauler which I used at the UKGE 2025 Mercs tournament.
Haven't fielded a Spider just yet (hoping soon!), but I fielded other light mechs in Alpha Strike and Battletech and it either goes hilariously wrong and they blow up instantly, or they manage to dodge every single shot thrown at them and they're able to harass the opponent.

A King Crab Battletech mini, painted up in trans pride colours
A Blood Asp Battletech mini, painted up in trans pride colours
A Raven Battletech mini, painted up in trans pride colours
It’s trans day of visibility, and what’s more visible than a towering pillar of steel, pride, and power?
Here we’ve got Zahra’s trans Blood Asp, Kaiju’s OG trans pride King Crab, and Blimp’s trans Raven, doing an big steppy.
Have you painted up any pride mechs of your own? Drop them in the comments if you have, we’d love to see them <3

95 tons of Trans Pride Nightstar at the center of the mercenary company I field.
As Transgender day of Visibility dawns here in Australia, I'm getting in early to remind you all that from the core to the periphery, trans rights are human rights, and we'll keep fighting for our trans siblings in Battletech, and in the world at large.

Thank you! 🙂
Yeah this livery in general was such a fun one to paint and it really does make the mechs and the Elementals look fantastic. I am very much looking forward to fielding them for Snowblind
And agreed, something about the scheme just really works with the Timber Wolf! .
Finished up the last of the mechs I have set aside for the Rasalhague Dominion Tau Galaxy until Snowblind comes out. This was a very fun livery to paint.
A Dire Wolf, Warhawk, Nova Cat, Nova, and a Timber Wolf plus two more Elementals.

A pair of aerospace fighters swoops in for a kill
And do the pirates have aerospace support? Why yes, yes they do.
