It's also depressing to know the only reason 🦊 was here was to promote a potential film of his own franchise, which took away time from actually bullding out Rosalina beyond having her be captured for the entire movie

Anyway both movies were kinda decent, entertaining on a very "look there's a reference" level but despite the spectacle the writing isn't too amazing

I actually liked the 1st movie more for the potential and setup, the 2nd movie tried to do too much at once, to the point Rosalina was barely in it

Watching a high-profile franchise like the Mario movies is always a minefield online because the public consensus is always polarized to hell and back 🙄 Either it's the 2nd coming of Jesus or complete dogshit like do you people have any other feelings or are we stuck with those two for online clout?

While this is a direct port from the PC88 so it's not as detailed as it could be, I will never not be impressed by the raw pixelart talent on display with these older games, with the amount of dithering they did to imply shading and even texture
