Sadly I didn't manage a decent photo of the Desert Wheatear this morning but I was very pleased to get this Stonechat on the way back.

The last one I saw in Weymouth was on April 12th 1978 at Radipole!

A Sowerby's Beaked Whale on the shore of Portland Harbour at Wyke this morning. First record for Dorset?

One project that I would really like to do much more of is photographing micro-moths in the field. The trouble is they don't often perch out in the open. This one did at Wyke last week. I think it's Esperia sulphurella.
