Believe it or not, blue archive is about way more than racist momoi memes or crying emojis, I bonded with friends over it, I barely spent a cent in 3 years of active play , it has way more strategic depth than you'd imagine and has jack shit to do with dating your students.

It creates a toxic feedback loop of giving the worst vibes ever to onlookers, leading to throwing insults at anyone showing a passing interest towards BA. In turn these dumbasses use that as ammo to antagonise anyone that's not a nazi larper. It's gross and deminishes everything the game is about.

I really fucking wish blue archive wasn't characterized by a vocal minority of bigots yelling slurs and thinking they're master gatekeepers by calling themselves predators for fun. I really care for these characters and I'm absolutely not siding with schizo posters by doing so.

I don't make art for social gratification or trying to build a brand. I really want to convey my care and passion for what I do, art used to make me extremely stressed at school, I'm still extremely unrefined and self critical but I never once felt like giving up. You feel alive when you make shit.

I shoot down a lot of my dreams and ambitions through anxieties and paranoia. It affects greatly my output and while I can't just turn that stuff off, I'm striving to live more day by day at least.

Part of me is still affraid of failing as an artist or person, it's hard to accept your issues lol.

You'd only know abt this if you were French but MotionTwin used to make baller flash games with a really fun art direction in the mid 2000s and now they're the poor man's supergiant.

Bakeru was very good too and it's sweet to see goodfeel's love for goemon even after konami killed off their ip. It didn't hook me like their take on wario land though.

The god tier hand drawn art direction obviously is a huge draw too, it stands out so much and hasn't aged a day since 2008
