Yes. We tried to hide Dramamine in Nutella ONE TIME years ago to try to prevent my kid from puking in the car, and she hasn’t eaten Nutella since.
(She still also refuses to take Dramamine in any form and we just go through a lot of puke bags. Kids, man.)
If you are a member of the press or public and have been denied access to ANY immigration court, we want to hear from you!

Together with the ACLU of NorCal, we are challenging the reported lack of public access to immigration court in Concord, CA. Any decision to abruptly cut off public access to immigration proceedings would contravene the First Amendment and federal law.

Concord Immigration Court has jurisdiction over a large swath of California’s Central Valley (aka America’s bread basket). Immigration hearings are currently restricted to those with "official business." This is not normal. It violates the court’s own rules, federal law, and the U.S. Constitution.
Have also done the bagel carry on, but from Montreal to DC. Slightly more ridiculous is when my carry on mostly consisted of fresh, pungent New Mexico chilis. (At my husband’s request & I almost missed my flight securing them . . . ) Apologies to my fellow travelers.
Here’s Public Justice’s statement on the LabCorp DIG:

If you haven’t seen the news or heard the giant sigh of relief, LabCorp got DIGed this morning.
Class actions survive another day.
📄 BRIEF FILED 🏛️ Will Wisconsin continue to recognize that ✨ statutory claims are enough ✨ to sue in state court, or will it follow the federal courts and require distinct concrete injuries to bring a lawsuit? @lu-ci-a.bsky.social @lnicholls.bsky.social

The 11th Cit held that the FCC exceeded its authority under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act in taking concrete actions to reduce spam calls. The TCPA was enacted in order to end spam calls. Sigh.
So, the Biden admin issued some regs that sought to make a dent in spam calls. The 11th Cir struck them down, and the Trump admin was uninterested in seeking rehearing or otherwise engaging on this. So.
Can we all just please stop accepting this insane notion that the ABA is somehow now a changed leftist organization because it stood for the rule of law (as opposed to the administration going so far right it is off the rails?).
Do we need a refresher on ABA history?
Thrilled that @publicjustice.bsky.social is teaming up w/ @youthvgov.bsky.social on behalf of these amazing young ppl

Yes. Came here to say this.
We just have grandma sleep on an air mattress in one of the kids rooms. It’s not ideal! I can definitely see the appeal of a hotel down the block . . .
To each their own, but I’m in the camp that strongly prefers to stay in a house/apartment when traveling with my small kids. Not because hotels are hostile to kids, but because my spouse and I don’t want to go to bed at 8 in the same room as our kids on our vacation.

With @publicjustice.bsky.social & Correia Puth representing us, we've filed a motion to intervene in Abrego Garcia, asserting that future hearings should be livestreamed www.publicjustice.net/abrego-garci....
Remote access should be granted automatically but even more so in such an important case.
I'm David Seligman.
I’m running for CO Attorney General.
This campaign is about reclaiming our power from the billionaires who have stolen it from us, from working families. We will fight. And we will win. Because we love our country the core promise it made to us: The law belongs to us.
Picture of Angels Unawares sculpture at Catholic University depicting a bronze boat of diverse refugees on a water feature.
In the last 24 hours, I’ve thinking a lot about the Angels Unawares sculpture at the Vatican (more accurately the replica near my house) and how radical it feels. When it should not. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angels_...
this is exactly why people think the subway is unsafe even though, statistically speaking, it is far safer than driving
car crashes are so common that we tune them out whereas subway crime is so shocking that it usually goes viral
My big takeaway from tonight’s DC Bar president candidates Q&A is that Pam Bondi’s brother is exactly who you think he is, and it’s very important that DC lawyers cast our votes for @whatajlp.bsky.social by the 6/4 deadline. Search your email for “Vote Today in the D.C. Bar Election” and do it now.
Relatedly, it’s tick season. Check yer children!
Not me rubbing down my child with vodka because we couldn’t find the rubbing alcohol.
The prize money in Liège-Bastogne-Liege 💰
Still a big gender gap. When will we finally see equal prize money in all WT one day races?
The same appreciation for both genders, is that still asked too much for certain organisations in 2025?

Was recently shocked to learn some of my team members were not familiar with Office Space. And then I realized why . . .
For those with long memories, this was also John Boehner’s district. In the first election I voted in (decades ago now) literally no one I voted for won. So a sea change would be required. But maybe now is the time.
This is great to see—in my parents’ district & county. My dad has been calling Davidson’s office regularly these days, and maybe someday all of this pressure will mean someone else can get elected there.
