As a sort of follow up, it can also be used to make sort of a box or cube if you use 6 strands of rope as well.

When you weave, it just takes forever and you really have to make sure your lines are all even otherwise you end up with runout!

I don’t know if there is a technical name for the pattern itself something new I have been playing with. Love the idea of adding and creating pattern and texture in new ways while also trying to find an elegant way to burn rope. It tends to work best with 4 strands of rope

It’s something we did to help prevent other animals getting in but may also prevent yours from getting out. Might help with erosion too.
