The wisteria is in bloom and its sweet fragrance makes the backyard so inviting. 66° in the sun feels just right.

As we got settled on our shuttle for the short trip to the Vegas strip I could hear Careless Whisper begin on the radio. The shuttle driver gave some brief info before saying, “and now let’s get back to listening to George Michael while we head out.” A few other passengers cheered along with me. 🤗🎷

I grew up around clocks that tick, chime, & cuckoo. Angie is annoyed by clock sounds & doesn’t want to hear them, especially when trying to sleep. Somehow we have 10 that still need to be adjusted twice a year. It’s a bit of a chore, but I do like that today symbolizes spring & all that it brings!

Today at lunch a kindergartner asked for a cup of water to drink. When I provided it I noticed she needed a napkin too so I handed one over. She hesitated and I asked, "is there something else you need?" She said, "just a little hug." 💕 Of course I obliged. Best part of my work day!

Yes, but whatever their reasons, hopefully they will turn on him soon before the damage done is irreversible.

Spring just doesn’t get the appreciation it deserves from youngsters. At the first sign of warmer weather after winter they complain it’s too hot. On the way out the door today a 1st grader exclaimed, “let’s get our tank tops on! I’m hot and it’s summer!” It was 61° and very lovely, but come on. ☀️

I hope your voice will be heard by a more broad audience who need to hear it.

I take an iron supplement every morning now. But that used to be a problem for me too.

Two 2nd graders took turns performing little shows w/ my finger puppets. One of them announced there’d be an ad preceding the start of her show. She wrapped up with, "Liberty Mutual...Save up money." Not quite the right tagline but clearly she has seen plenty of the ads that infiltrate my shows too.
