Corrupt kleptocratic Christian nationalism was on the ballot in Hungary today — just as it will be on the ballots that Americans will cast in November.

It was repudiated abroad — may it be repudiated here in November (and beyond).

Valid question. I’m going to let the people (and the Virginia Supreme Court) decide whether we redistrict before I make a decision about whether to change districts. In the meantime, I’m committed to the first.

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has signed a decree establishing Universal Healthcare for all Mexican citizens.

The United States could’ve had this, but people chose economic collapse, cruelty and death instead. I’ll never regret voting for Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris.

Persuading a no vote—by any means necessary, it seems—keeps them with the advantage. They don’t care about the people; they care about staying in power.

So I exercised my power as a Virginia voter and voted yes to new maps.

5. The vote no ads are full of lies and ignore relevant context outside of Virginia. The people who are gerrymandering state legislatures *right now* because Trump wanted it are trying to convince Virginians that gerrymandering is bad.

4. FOLLOW THE MONEY. The Justice for Democracy PAC pays for the vote no ads. They received $2.5M from Per Aspera Policy Inc. That company’s backed by billionaire & Palantir co-founder, Peter Thiel. He’s a financial supporter of Trump and, with Palantir, receives government contracts worth billions.

3. This is a temporary change to the Virginia Constitution that suspends independent redistricting until October 31, 2030 only. The change ends automatically on that date. The independent redistricting commission under the Virginia Constitution comes back into play at that point.

2. Virginia, like California, is getting the consent of the governed, allowing voters to choose whether we respond to this blatant political power grab. We can choose to rebalance the national political scale with a yes vote. If Trump hadn’t started this, Virginia wouldn’t need a referendum.

This is not democracy; it’s weaponizing the political-legal system against the people for power and control.

1. Trump is trying to steal seats for the GOP in Congress for his own self interest in retaining power. He called TX for 5 more seats through its legislature without regard to the voices of the people yelling no. He got the same thing out of NC, gaining one seat there. Now, FL plans to do the same.

Today, I voted YES to amend the Virginia Constitution to allow for temporary redistricting of our congressional maps. Here’s why.
