Few historical novels I've ever read have pulled me into them like 'The Frozen River.'

When I met Al Gore at a Climate Reality training seven years ago in Atlanta, I thought, 'What a president this man would have made.'
I'm convinced he could still do the job.

If this man had murdered eight strangers the story would lead every news outlet. But because they are his children, it's "family violence," "domestic violence" -- undeserving of the same attention. Even though this violence is much more common

Louisiana community is struggling to understand after man killed 8 children Police say a Louisiana man who fatally shot seven of his children and another child used an an assault-style weapon despite a 2019 felony firearms conviction.

The 8 children killed in the Shreveport mass shooting is on top of the 115 people killed in 98 other shootings this year. It was illegal for the Shreveport shooter to be in possession of a gun, but easy enough for him to get his hands on an assault rifle. #GunControlNow apnews.com/article/shre...

Got our solar panels installed this AM. They came at 8:30am and we're gone by 1:30pm. 13 panels and 10kwh battery.

We can't export to the grid yet (the network operator has been flooded with new requests) but we charged our car with the sun this afternoon. Great feeling, strongly recommend.

Palantir is a menace to society. Its "Manifesto" reads like a very bad Hollywood science fiction dystopia movie.
