yeaaa it was definitely pretty jank particularly the plague districts/shabnak stuff, i don't enjoy that part of the game at all... though they have been patching stuff so i'm hoping they're fixing how buggy some of the quests are. daniil is the highlight for sure he is so babygirl to me

oh also i really liked the sequence at the end with the polyhedron i thought that was cool. also artemy and dankovskys writing… i fujodt out

frankly i just want to see daniil talk to the stamatins more the dual threat of the suicidal-off with peter and always coming out of conversations with andrey on the verge of a heart attack was funny as fuck. i will play classic for this

i'll probably play again in the future once they hopefully add subtitles so i can do russian VO and also finish patching bugs. but it really made me want to play classic so maybe i'll do that

some of the plot points also didnt really hit for me (eva's death very anticlimactic, lara's whole situation, i don't think they established dankovsky caring about the polyhedron well) but overall i had a very fun time!!! daniil's writing was very engaging to me. and i like time travel

mental illness management was really funny admittedly. but also there was never any point to not being super manic so you run fast. also i think i crafted like once the entire game.

however the doctor minigame was so fun

i found a lot of the mechanics here pretty weak, i.e. the shabnak flower thing was tedious, i didn't like how travel was done (going through plague districts was a pain in the ass but for worse reasons than 2), the amalgam minigame where you heal people on the ground was so annoying i never did it

i LOVE dankovsky as a character and had a great time playing as him, though i do think pathologic 2 is a better game as a whole... i just love daniil... hes so annoying...... getting to rp his annoying ass was so fun............

id like to go back and save karminsky to see what happens if you dont destroy the polyhedron but tbh i think it doesnt do a great job of establishing that daniil actually cares about that thing until the very end when hes trying to save it. but im curious

i finished it! got the miracle seeker ending. seems pretty good to me
