2025 was a big year for Foodnoms. Rewrote and redesigned the entire app. Grew subscription revenue 24% while cutting ad spending. Shipped 31 updates and learned a lot of valuable lessons.

This update introduces Foodnoms Cloud: a new alternative to iCloud for syncing across devices. iCloud still remains fully supported, but this is great if you cannot use iCloud or storage is tight.

Ever had a bad connection and been stuck staring at a blank screen when searching in Foodnoms? Pretty frustrating when you just want something from Previously Logged!
Well, as of today's update, that’s fixed. The Previously Logged and library sections load instantly, and the rest show a spinner.

Yep, that’s right! I recommend using URLs if you are ever using an online recipe.

Tip: you can use the share sheet > Open in Foodnoms action as a shortcut instead of copy/paste.

2. If you receive a notification to log a meal (e.g., breakfast, lunch, or dinner) but don’t interact with it, the notification will automatically clear once you log something for that meal later. The same applies to the “no recent logs” notification.

Here's how:

1. Update to the latest version of the app (version 2025.1).
2. Use the share sheet and select "Open in Foodnoms" (if it's not visible, select "Edit Actions…" and enable it). Alternatively, copy the URL and paste it into Foodnoms AI.
3. Review and log the result.
