No not the consumer end of it anyway... Its Octopus connecting to the inverter via GivEnergy cloud to manage its import/export. So I delegate control to Octopus as its part of their Ts&Cs for the tariff.

No biggy though, I can replicate the same locally too.

The inverter has 100% locally accessible APIs, and I have it all wired into home assistant. I can isolate it behind my network too.

The weird one is Octopus that access via the cloud APIs. That might stop.

I recently discovered the term "Indie Landfill" which is basically a term for most indie rock 2000-2010 and it makes perfect sense now.

After buying consoles with my own cash every gen since PS1, I feel like i'm not likely to buy next-gen hardware. Although gaming PC costs are significantly higher all-in really.

Wouldn't be surprised if I considered streaming hardware for gaming down the line, whatever subscription hell that brings
