I made an argument that cheating in college tests is not as horrendous as someone was making it sound like because college tests are far from ideal measures of knowledge, skill and proficiency and at least 3 people replied with "yeah what if your medical doctor cheated on their tests HUH??"

TIL many people don't know you need more than a degree to be a medical doctor, apparently

But this is precisely why medical doctors need to have an extra certification to be able to work on their field - college tests are not a good measure of knowledge or ability in the first place.
