From narratives and oral histories to multilingualism and digital methods, the group explores how memory is constructed, expressed, and negotiated through everyday discourse across diverse contexts.
MSA invites institutions worldwide to join this effort by offering academic refuge through funding or in-kind support.

Since its launch in 2022, the fellowship has helped several scholars find safe academic environments, in partnership with Off-University. The Foundation also supports Scholars at Risk Travel Grants, enabling participation in the MSA Annual Conference.
