Publishing YA books under an imprint named 'flip' is certainly a choice...Not to mention the 'flippin' marvelous books' tagline...

This Bloomsbury kerfuffle is yet another reminder of Amazon's clout... Even if the average book buyer doesn't really gain much these days from shopping there since you would only save a few quid most of the time.

'the word cunt' is the title of the 13-line poem. Here are the last few lines: ...how else would you describe the sea? a woman's heart i said. a cauldron of cold fish tears, a crone in love with the moon, the sloshing fluid of god's inner ear.

This is a poem about the sea, and it's one of my favourites from Scottish poet Ali Whitelock, who lives in Australia.
