You can’t go public about financial matters when you own a business. Loans could get called. Tough place to be.

As is his right. I don’t know DDP, he could be an asshole for all I know, but has created a lot more jobs than he almost any restaurant owner. Most of his restaurants are successful. Creating opportunities for his employees. It actually IS a family run business. It’s not private equity.

I would say you might be out of touch with what it takes to own a business in Minneapolis. Start with your own assumptions.

I don’t think those that vilify DDP really understand how difficult it is to own a restaurant in Minneapolis. I have family who own a restaurant in Minneapolis and it sounds untenable.
