You're a big man, but you're in bad shape. With me it's a full time job. Now behave yourself.

The blamethrower's loaded up and ready to fire.
Yes. Local authority didn't care, UC did.
As mentioned last week, top-up that UC gave her so benefits not reduced by transition was treated as income by the local authority so raised the amount she had to pay for her care by several hundred pounds per month. Contested it and got it reduced.
Yep. This hit my sister when she was transitioned to UC. Local authority used to cover her entire rent. UC only covers LHA - spare room tax. LHA here is £750p/m. You try getting anything in West Berkshire for £750p/m.
Her rent is currently £1287.50p/m and that's considered cheap.

They did find another ECG machine, but it took two people and some time to sort out. Still don't have a time/date for my bloods.
Had a blood test and ECG booked at GP surgery today. This is how it went.
Automated check in not working.
No blood tests without a form as they couldn't print them. Had not been given a form.
A new blood test to be booked. Couldn't take bookings as that system was also down.
ECG machine not working.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS PLATTER.
You can pleasure yourself outside your room. The foyer and carpark are good spots, or so I'm told.
I'm sure there are plenty of men around here more than willing to explain them to you.
For reasons I had 20+ Sun SPARCStations piled up in my garage. Gave them away last year via r/VintageComputing. Several of them are going to a museum. Hopefully others will get some use out of them. I kept my UltraSPARC though.
So you're not volunteering to mow my lawns then?

Beautiful special editions. I foolishly went for the Waterstones signed edition.
Much love and hugs regarding your daughter.
Post the best picture you have ever taken of your pet (if you feel like it)
The very much missed Marnold
Was it Marvin?
No, you're dreaming of a haiku dominatrix and her three-line whip!
It's a map of the Lego landmines you've left strewn across the floor to trap the half-awake in only their socks.
I have the @sirtonyrobinson.bsky.social abridged audiobook of this and it's a thing of great beauty.
Am sister's legal deputy so have to deal with this.
She was moved to UC. Extra payment was made to make up the shortfall to her previous benefits. Local authority took this as extra income and increased the amount she had to pay for her care by several hundred a month. Took ages to resolve.
His last film, wasn't it?
I haven't seen anything yet, but it can't be worse than the first Street Fighter movie, can it?
This! A thousand times over.
I am always here for a good bit of Theremin.
I'm interested in the Empire, but I care about the leviathans.
Can I interest you in a Slanket to go with those Totes Toasties‽ You know it makes sense.
Clearly one of the pre-Hartnell doctors.
