Could not be happier with how my new personal site has turned out. A nod to Bauhaus, build with web-safe colours and clean type. I'll spend next week tweaking content and layout, updating thumbnails, hunting for bugs, etc but in the meantime renderg.host v1 (boosted by #ATproto) is alive!!!

When I'm in a gallery, I keep expecting that sidebar content to be data about the photos I'm looking at. These menus are really helpful on the front page as an entry point for discovery, but in a gallery, it's taking up a lot of space, creating a lot of visual competition.

There's a lot of "dead" space that makes it hard to really appreciate landscape photos. Would be great to open it up a bit.

I really miss the grid view of albums. I think it shows off the concept of "gallery" and it's an affordance that there are more photos to be seen.

Could perhaps be a toggle view (like top) and/or a film strip at the bottom?
